Over the past nine years, we launched close to 50 Connected Insurance projects worldwide with some of the leading companies such as AIG, Porsche Insurance, UNIQA, and many others. Project Manager is responsible for managing internal and external Amodo’s projects. Main duty is to establish environment for successful project execution such as: propose and select right resources, determine project objectives and scope, perform planning and risk management activities, monitor project execution, engage client representatives and regularly inform them about project progress and issues, determine responsibilities among project team members, motivate and empower project team members for best possible performance, keep all internal stakeholders properly informed and build trusting relationship with all included in project.
All About The Role
- Determine project goals and objectives
- Determine project scope
- Predict and propose resources needed to reach project objectives
- Manage project team members
- Track project costs to meet budget
- Develop and manage detailed project time plan including milestones tracking
- Report internal and external project stakeholders
- Manage Change Requests and take care on performing impact analysis
- Monitor progress of the project
- Responsible for project deliverables in time, cost and scope according to signed contracts
- Work according to company’s project governance model
- Participate in process improvements (all processes related to project management or delivery activities)
We’re looking for
- Working experience as Customer Project Manager or Software Project Manager or Technical Project Manager, at least 3 years
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Preferably technical background with experience in digital technologies
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Ability to drive multiple projects
- High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Preferably Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate
- Experience in agile methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills

Our data scientists support insurers in developing risk and pricing models out of sensor data and help them understand user behavior to predict risk, churn, and insurance product needs.
All About The Role
- Lead and grow a team of data scientists
- Scope, prioritize, and lead the execution of data science projects
- work closely with fellow IT professionals (quality team, developers, and product leads)
- Provide technical and thought leadership to the team
- Achieve company and operational goals through implementing ML projects and initiatives in line with the client needs and company strategy
We’re looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher with relevant experience. Master’s or PhD preferred in Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics, or related quantitative areas.
- Strong foundational understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning
- Strong foundation in data structures, and SQL
- Highly proficient in Java, C++, or other equivalent languages
- Strong programming skills with experience using modern packages in R and Python
- Machine Learning Toolkits/Libraries (for example, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, tidyverse, caret, Tensorflow, and similar)
- Experience in working with unstructured data and in cleaning and manipulating dana
- 3+ years of experience (less is also possible, but 3+ is preferred) in applying advanced quantitative methods and implementation of ML/deep learning algorithms into production environment
- Experience with large-scale analytics on AWS platforms

Backend developer is responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Backend developer writes web services and APIs used by front-end developers and mobile application developers. Primary focus is the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end and mobile application.

- Developing functional and sustainable web applications with clean code
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Designing and implementing data storage solutions
- Writing unit tests
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Applications troubleshooting and debugging
- Optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary team of designers, developers and system administrators
- Following new and emerging technologies
- Analyzing current technology utilized within the company and proposing technology stack improvements and scalability possibilities
- Providing detailed specifications for proposed solutions including required resources and effort estimates
- Writing technical documentation and ensuring it is kept up to date
- For Senior Team Leads: mentoring and training other engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improve processes companywide
We’re looking for
- Experience using Linux operating system
- Experience using Python programming language
- Experience using one of the web frameworks, preferably Django and Django REST Framework
- Proficient understanding of OWASP security principles
- Understanding of user authentication and authorization mechanisms between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Experience with Git distributed version control system
- Experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Experience with unit testing and data factories
- Good knowledge of networking concepts such as Firewalls, NAT, Port, Subnetting, VPC, VPNs
- Understanding of NoSQL databases like Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with DevOps, mobile, testing and account management team
- Ability to document, present and communicate the architecture in a written and visual form
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: computer science, IT, or a similar relevant field. Masters is a plus
