Dr. Andrea van Aubel has been a member of the board at msg since 2023, overseeing the units in the insurance industry. She is also responsible for the Operations department and the staff positions of Diversity and Occupational Health Management. The Ph.D. in Business Mathematics brings 30 years of professional experience in the insurance sector. Before joining the msg board, she served as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Information Officer (CIO), and board member for globally operating insurance companies. Dr. Andrea van Aubel is a member of numerous committees and was involved in the establishment of InsurLab Germany as part of the German government's digitization initiative.

Gennadi Schermann has been the Managing Director of DIZ | Digital Innovation Center GmbH since August 2023. The company initiates, coordinates, and implements innovation projects and strategic initiatives on a national and international level. Prior to this role, the qualified industrial engineer gained extensive experience in the fields of innovation and strategic management, both domestically and internationally. He has successfully implemented projects at the intersection of startups, companies, academia, and politics.

Thomas Mengelkoch, a graduate economist and bank clerk, and a true "car banker" with a passion for automobiles, started his career as CFO/Finance Director at Volvo Car Germany in 2009 after 15 years in various management positions at Ford Financial. Since 2015, he has also been the managing director of two joint ventures in the areas of Financial & Insurance Services (F&I). Additionally, since 2026, he has served as a board member of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in the Federal Republic of Germany.
